The collection forms part of Series 10, which consists mainly of music manuscripts: non-autograph originals and photocopies of both non-autographs and autographs. It also includes rental materials and some arrangements by other composers. Briefly stated, all music materials for the works of Weill other than those offered for sale by publishers are included, whether in score or parts, as long as they present his music without fundamentally altering its character. Included in the collection of materials on Der Jasager are photocopies of the set of five manuscript parts in the collection of the Hochschule der Künste, Berlin, vocal scores with English translations by Ned Rorem and Robert Press, and a photocopy of a holograph score of passages prepared for use with Brecht's revision of Autumn 1930.
